Karaoke Events Schedule

All Karaoke Events will take place in the Orange County Ballroom at the Anaheim Marriott. Please note that this schedule is subject to change. For the latest news and updates about Karaoke Events, check out the Anime Expo Karaoke Forum.

Friday, July 2nd	Karaoke Contest Check-in (noon-6 PM), Karaoke Contest Preliminaries (8 PM-11 PM), Open Mic (11 PM-6 AM) Note: AX Idol auditions will also be held in the Karaoke Events room from noon-2:30 PM.
Saturday, July 3rd	Open Mic Karaoke (TBA), Karaoke Contest Finals (TBA)
Sunday, July 4th	Open Mic Karaoke (noon-6 AM), Mini-Contests (TBA)
Monday, July 5th	Open Mic Karaoke (noon-3 PM)

Karaoke Contest!

The Anime Expo Karaoke Contest features singers from the shower to the stage, head-to-head in a vocal battle featuring your favorite anime, j-pop, and video game songs. Come join the fun and cheer on your fellow fans as they sing for glory, recognition, and lots of cool prizes! Preliminaries will be held Friday, July 2, with the qualifiers advancing to the Semi-Finals and Finals held on Saturday, July 3.

Open Mic Karaoke

If competition isn't your thing, or if the contest has whetted your appetite for more singing, come to Open Mic Karaoke and sing your favorite Anime, J-rock, and J-pop songs.

Looking for a place to chill in between events? Just aching to belt out your special rendition of Ride on Shooting Star at 3AM in the morning? Open Mic Karaoke is open from noon until 6 AM for the singer in all of us.

Karaoke Mini-Contests!

In addition to the main Karaoke Contest, we will also have some exciting and fun mini-contest events going on throughout the course of the convention. Stay tuned for further details!
